Addiction recovery is a lifetime journey, full of unpredictable twists and turns. There’s no one direct and perfect route for every addict to take. There are, however, a number of factors that, in combination, give addicts the tools they need to blaze their own trails to overcoming addiction . At HelpNest, we call each addict’s individualized path to lasting, sustainable recovery his or her own “HelpNest Path.” We know every addiction is different, and we know every recovery is different. We want to help everyone overcome addiction.
The HelpNest Path begins with a comprehensive understanding of addiction and what it does to the human body, mind, and spirit. Each addict is matched with a trained and certified recovery coach who helps the addict and his friends and family understand addiction. In addition, the recovery coach is familiarized with the addict’s own unique situation and challenges. Those involved collaborate on an addiction recovery plan, and together they follow that plan, making the hope for sustainable recovery a reality. Through it all, the recovery coach is there, right beside the addict, helping him or her achieve what at times can seem impossible: overcoming addiction.
Overcoming addiction begins with really understanding the nature of one's addictions and how they affect the addict and his or her loved ones. We help our clients understand addiction from scientific, psychological, and spiritual perspectives.
Knowledge is power. Once our clients understand the role their addictions play in their lives, we'll work together to develop a smart, targeted, custom recovery plan .
When formulating Recovery Plans for our recovery coaching clients, we focus on a number of key factors that greatly influence one's ability to overcome addiction. These "keys to recovery" serve as signposts on the HelpNest path, helping our clients on the road to lasting, stable recovery.
Our number one goal when working with our recovery coaching clients is preventing relapse. However, when relapse does occur, we leap into action to help our clients respond to their relapse in a positive way for both their short-term well-being and their long-term recovery prospects.
HelpNest isn't an addiction recovery service that ends the second you leave rehab. We'll be there to help you when the going gets tough and when you need us the most.
An important part of our job is connecting you with valuable third-party recovery resources . Here are some that are available online:

[John from HelpNest] helped me decide what my plans were for after detox. John did all the calling, trying to setup my financing, setting everything up with the treatment center. John helped me get into a facility and also called and spoke to my family. It just amazed me that someone who didn’t even know me would go out of their way to help me like that.Jody, Alcoholic, Addict
