We are familiar with the options in your area and we will work hard to understand your specific needs, strengths, and challenges. We also understand dual diagnosis and will make sure your drug or alcohol addiction is treated in conjunction with any other related mental illnesses. As such, there is no one better to consult with to find the best addiction counselor or counselors for you or your loved one. Call us today. We're available 24/7 and we'll come to you to help you assess your recovery coaching and therapy needs.
They also took the time to get to know my son and the situation my family was in. In doing so they were able to find the best treatment facility for my son. They helped us to locate the resources to get my son into treatment. We are so very thankful for all their knowledge and compassion in this complicated situationHolly, Concerned Mother
My family had pretty much given up on me because I had tried to quit 4-5 times over the past few years and had always started drinking within days. Well, soon it will be my 3rd year sober for me and it truly is a miracle. I am so grateful for my life today, and I will always be so thankful to HelpNest and everyone who played a part in my recovery!Jody, Alcoholic, Addict

[John from HelpNest] helped me decide what my plans were for after detox. John did all the calling, trying to setup my financing, setting everything up with the treatment center. John helped me get into a facility and also called and spoke to my family. It just amazed me that someone who didn’t even know me would go out of their way to help me like that.Jody, Alcoholic, Addict

Heather Apo has worked as a substance abuse counselor and has also done volunteer work in several recovery advocacy groups at the local and state level. She has worked with state politicians advocating for progressive treatment funding as well as for Prison reforms for addicts. She has knowledge of both real life and professional experience of the process of recovery. Heather believes that process is a design for living that takes time and guidance by people who have a mix of that experience. She states: “Recovery is not a journey that ends in 30-90 days, and it isn’t just a chance to get sober. It is the opportunity to change one’s lifestyle. I am an addict in recovery who was given the opportunity to earn back a life that is happy and productive. This happened because I had people that guided me along the way. I keep what I have by continuing to give back what was given to me. This is not only something I have learned by education or because I have letters behind my name; this is a solution I believe in strongly because I have lived it”.
